Will my spray tan look orange?
1
No. Our plant-derived solution is formulated to complement all undertones and applied using a precise technique that creates a natural, believable glow — never orange.
How long does the appointment take?
2
Most sessions take approximately 20 minutes, including consultation, preparation, application, and drying time.
How long does a spray tan last?
3
With proper care, your glow typically lasts 7–10 days. Longevity depends on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Check our Prep & Care page for more info.
When should I book before an event?
4
We recommend booking 1–2 days before travel or events for standard services.
Bridal and major events should be scheduled 2–3 weeks in advance to allow time for a trial session.

What should I wear to my appointment?
6

During the application, you may wear a dark or older bikini/undergarments, or choose minimal coverage if comfortable. Male clients must wear undergarments or swim trunks.
How long before I can shower?
7
Signature Glow: Rinse after 6–8 hours
Express Glow: Rinse after 1–3 hours
Use lukewarm water only for the first rinse and pat dry.
Can I work out or swim afterward?
8
Avoid sweating, swimming, or water exposure until your rinse time. After that, normal activities can resume, though excessive chlorine or friction may shorten longevity.
Yes. Spray tanning is a cosmetic service that temporarily darkens the outer layer of your skin using DHA, a sugar-derived ingredient that reacts with skin proteins to create a natural-looking bronzed effect. It does not provide UV protection or block harmful rays, so wearing sunscreen remains important whenever you’re outdoors.
Is spray tanning safe?
9
Is spray tan safe for sensitive skin?
10
Most clients tolerate the solution well. If you have sensitivities or allergies, we recommend contacting us beforehand to discuss a complimentary patch test.
Can I get a spray tan while pregnant?
11
Many clients do, but we recommend consulting your healthcare provider first. Protective measures such as masks can be used to minimize inhalation.
I’m breastfeeding. Can I still get a spray tan ?
12
Yes! Just let us know when you book your appointment or when we arrive. You are welcome to wear a bra or swimsuit top that covers any areas that you don’t want your child coming in contact with OR we can provide a damp cloth to immediately remove solution on the breasts if you need to be sprayed topless. Either way, we’ll walk you through the steps and make sure your tan is perfect. You’ll be in good hands, we promise!
What if I still have an old tan on?
13
For best results, scrub ALL color off from previous spray tans or sunless tanners for best results. Take a hot shower or bath and massage damp skin with a heavy oil (like coconut oil or baby oil) to remove excess color. Towel dry afterwards for those stubborn areas. It works like a charm! Depending on how much color is left, more than one shower/bath may be necessary to completely remove all remnants of the leftover color.
Can I tan while using retinol or Accutane?
14
Retinoids and Accutane can increase skin sensitivity and affect results. Please disclose usage before your appointment so we can advise appropriately.
How often can I get sprayed?
15
For healthy skin and optimal results, we recommend spacing sessions 10–15 days apart.
What happens if I don’t follow prep instructions?
16
Improper preparation may affect development, color, or longevity. We’ll guide you beforehand, but results depend on proper skin prep and aftercare.
Yes. Your comfort and privacy are always respected. We use a professional setup designed to create a discreet, comfortable environment.
Is this service private?
17
Do you offer memberships?
18

What forms of payment do you accept?
19
Payment details are provided at booking. Major payment methods are accepted through our secure system.
When should I schedule my trial spray tan for a special event?
20
For the most confident, photo-ready results, we recommend scheduling your trial at least 2–12 weeks before your event. This allows time to evaluate color, longevity, and development, and to fully remove any remaining tan before your final application.
Many clients choose to align their trial with another meaningful occasion — such as dress fittings, makeup trials, bridal showers, or travel — so you can see how your glow looks in real life.
Your final tan should be scheduled 2 days before your event for optimal freshness. During peak seasons (February–October), availability fills quickly, so early planning is encouraged.
How do I book an appointment with you?

Booking your glow is simple. Appointments are scheduled online through our booking page. Select your service, choose your preferred date and time, and complete the reservation to secure your session. Because The Glow Method is a mobile concierge service, we travel to your home, hotel, or event location throughout the Atlanta area.
